I had an epiphany earlier this year that given the amount of time and money I was spending on my appearance, I should have looked like a supermodel. But as I wasn’t even close, I decided to redirect my time and money into something with a higher return on investment and my beauty goal became “not distractingly ugly.”

Peels, peels, peels. Glycolic acid is magical. So’s TCA. Love how they keep my breakouts and wrinkles in check.

Chemical exfoliation. Daily treatment at home or monthly professional peels from a dermatologist, IT WORKS WONDERS.

All the acid peels - glycolic, salicylic, lactic.

i totally believe in AHA toners/creams and AHA peels. but i couldn’t really say for sure that anything else i’m currently using is actually working.

Facials are an amazing non-sexual way to feel intimate with a stranger: the aesthetician’s touch used to make me feel loved at some of my loneliest points. Same with massage. What worked for me in my 20s is not the same 15 years later - hormones are one helluva drug. Except Retinol: if you aren't allergic, it's

Really liked their last album. Had no idea they were so young.

AAAGH, I just saw them perform live, and it was better than I could have ever imagined. They are amazing. And I am so jealous of their talent and their accents and their style ... they are just incredible. AND HOW ARE THEY ONLY 20?? WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE? Christ.

I am filled with silent rage every time I get a text from my ex that says “we’ve done a good job with him” in reference to my six year old. But that probably has to do with more than just verbiage choice.

That’s going to be one gorgeous child.

I was so overwhelmed with happiness for them for no distinguishable reason and it was ruined as soon as I read “we are pregnant.”

Navel gazing, obsessed, drooling over celebs literally account for most interviews. The other ones try to destroy them.

Wow.

You know, articles like this give me a double take. There is a huge, rabid international fandom for Kpop. I’ve stumbled across any number of frothing, English language fan boards and tumblrs devoted to SNSD, 2NE1, Big Bang, etc where the fans are often white Americans. Yet, despite this seeming international cache,

I think it’s just bad contouring. Surely?
