I hate to go there, but is it strange to anyone else how frequently he waxes nostalgic for a time when he wouldn’t have full civil rights, much less be able to run for president?

Ben Carson makes me so sad. I was so inspired by him as a child. I read his books and he helped solidify my dreams and goals to become a doctor.

I am seriously starting to wonder if there is early-onset dimensia here. Is he okay? Does he even realize what he’s saying?

No. I am not going to correspond with a professional person who lists that as their primary contact. Gmail is free. Make an account with a username that makes you look older than a fifteen year old horny person.

I just googled and apparently the “é” in Raven-Symoné’s name is NOT pronounced. It’s the same as “Simone.” Now THAT is a crime against the accent aigu.

Man, this straddles the line between racism and political satire so closely that I honestly do not know what to think. It probably doesn’t help that I’m not South African.

How is using slave twice more redundant than the word workers followed by work?

So you think that redundancy in using the word “slave” twice is more offensive than the fact that the word “worker” erases the depravity of the slave trade? You should really reflect on why you even asked this question in the first place.

“Slaves”. “Slave” is the preferable and preferred word for people who are forced to perform work, unpaid, often against their will, often under the threat of bodily harm.

“The Atlantic Slave Trade between the 1500s and 1800s brought millions of workers people from Africa to the southern United States to work as slaves on agricultural plantations.”

“Slaves” is the correct word. The caption - if it wants to be accurate - should read, “The Atlantic Slave Trade captured tens of thousands of Africans and brought them here by force and in chains to serve as unpaid workers in the United States.”

The Royal Gazette reports that Fox “told the Erie Times-News that she visited the island in January after being invited by a local sea glass collector and left with two suitcases filled with glass to make jewelry to sell.” To add insult to injury, she also referred to the Bermuda beach as “a dump” in an online video.

Something I am absolutely revolted, and distracted by, that they do on TV shows is put those shoe-clad feet on bedspreads and couches. Why? Who does that? You were just walking outside with those shoes, why are they now on your bedspread or couch? Are you an animal?

Twenty years ago my wife introduced me to color palettes and it changed my life. I no longer buy clothes that I never wear because the colors just don’t work on me, no matter how much I like the way they look on the hanger. I also finally settled on a few brands and lines that match my sense of style (I tend towards

I did this too. I had to look at who I am and how old I am and what kind of activities I participate in these days. It helps to have a teenage daughter with opinions she’s not afraid to share, who also has a makeup and fashion YouTube channel with over 10K subscribers. Yes, I’m proud.

Oooh I have one too! 99% of the time I am wearing one of three things:

I have this issue too! I used to window-shop a lot, and end up completely idealizing a particular garment, or a general silhouette, because of how it appeared on the hanger. Then, I’d try it on....and either be crestfallen by how it looked on my actual body, or make a horrible purchasing decision. These include:

I don’t care much about fashion. Personal style is much more important to me. Regardless of what’s currently in fashion, you’ll generally find me wearing dresses or skirts and t-shirts with tights. The main colors in my wardrobe are black, red and pink. I have a crap ton of accessories. Shoes need to be attractive yet

I finally let go of all the pretty/cool/interesting clothes that I just never wore over the summer. I made thousands of dollars on eBay doing it.

I have a closet full of regret. I think I fall in love w an aspect of an item and forget to ask myself if it really flatters me. I really only recently started asking myself if I look my best in it and then if I don’t I won’t buy it.
