It's awful to imagine what they had to go through. Some to keep themselves and those they love alive, and others to keep strangers alive.

Her family is VERY ashamed of the war. They did what they had to to protect their children, and I certainly don't blame them there. I get the feeling that they wish they had been able to stand up and do something, but going into hiding was the only way to keep their family alive.

Meh. My husband doesn't shave his legs, but he wears foundation and concealer. I even go and get him the expensive stuff so he doesn't breakout. It makes him feel good and his skin does look pretty fantastic. Who cares if it's not male standard, shave away hairy men.
