Completely agree with everything you said. It bothers me to no end seeing these "studies" being taken as laws by people. I know a whole lot of people that will probably read the conclusions alone, and will believe they have definitive, irrefutable proof that videogames cause violence.

Wuuut, I loved Dragon Ball as a child, and I still do! While you're right about them doing a much more damage than the enemies just by powering up, if they didn't stop them, they would've killed/enslaved everybody, and I'd take collateral damage over being killed/enslaved any day :P

That's precisely the way I do it. I'll go "All right, these shoes are worth about 1.5 days of work..." Then, I'll analyze if it's worth it or not. Are they good quality? How much will they last approximately?" and so on and so forth.

I'd agree with you most of the times, but not always. I've just seen too many times people having meetings for the sake of having meetings, rather than with a concise objective and direction in hand.
