I'm on the same boat as SolidAir. Thanks for the advice, and Lightbot 2.0 is great for teaching the concepts, like you said. Thanks again!

I never played Pokemon past the Yellow version, but sometimes I feel inclined to play some of the newer games. I want to get some nostalgia, but I'm also kind of curious what the new games bring to the table.

I would love it if they included him as a secret unlockable character, with really random, unrelated moves. Unspecific to the max.

Morally questionable? Many of the comforts we enjoy now were considered morally questionable at some point, by close-minded, bigoted people. Those people have always existed, and will always exist. Luckily, at some point in history, scientists and the government decided to ignore them. I think it's more reasonable to

I would put it like this. If you can easily opt out of hearing/reading the troll, it's OK. If the troll is going out of his/her way to harass you, I don't think it is. I'm tired of hearing people complain about trolls in games or forums. If you're that sensitive, just block/mute the troll. It's EASY. All of the PVP

Why? It's been happening ever since the industrial revolution. Most of the tools we use, including (but not limited to) computers, printers, and phones, made some (if not many) jobs obsolete. It is nothing new, and if you use any of these tools, you're kind of part of it. While it is sad, it's a reality, and being

Silly Apple, you already overcharged him, and that money won't even be yours!

One of my greatest fears? Enclosed spaces. I'm not talking about small rooms filled with people, I'm talking about spaces so small I can barely move in. One of the worst things that could happen to me would be falling in some sort of whole and getting stuck, unable to move. Oh man that's a scary thought.

Well, when you're right, you're right. I spoke out of line.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I wouldn't say compete, but if you're skilled enough, you should be able to do whatever you want in either one. Maybe much faster in PS, but with enough time, you should be able to get the same results. People who make a living out of it surely make the most out of every penny PS is worth,

I hear ya. Cue all the PS fanboys claiming PS is better with no real arguments other than "OMG i totally know wat im talking bout cuz im an art major and PS is DA BEEZ NEEZ".

It isn't the latest, most feature-filled version. You're getting the version of PS that was released in 2005. You'll have to make a purchase if you want something newer. If CS2 suits your needs, GIMP would do the job as well. It will only look "nicer".

Yeah, the controls weren't the best, but that hasn't bothered me in the slightest. The overall experience is a very memorable one, at least for me. One of the few real gaming experiences I've had in quite a while.

To be fair, I've used both, and I found both to be equally confusing for first-timers. They both have a similar learning curve as far as I know.

What is it with people disliking The Walking Dead? I think it's great! I'm not sure I'd give it GOTY, but I wouldn't be disappointed if it was either.

Why not? I've been playing it all week and it's really, really good. I haven't played a lot of the strong contenders, like XCOM, Dishonored, or Journey, but I wouldn't be surprised if The Walking Dead was at least a close second or third place.

Ah, now that sounds more reasonable. I understand that it may take you less time in PS, but you'd still be able to do it in GIMP. Anyways, if it's worth the money to you, PS is a good purchase.

GIMP has all you need to do anything. If you can't do something in GIMP, you lack skill, that's all.

Sigh. Did you even read my comment? You people don't get it. You apparently enjoy feeling you are in some sort of moral high ground or something. I agree that rape is terrible, it shouldn't happen at all, to anyone. However, it is a reality in many places, and it's just common sense to take precautions to minimize

There are lots of things that are very satisfying, but that doesn't make them right. Especially if you're in a setting like work. Personally, if I found out some subordinate of mine is going around my hotel delivering karma to guests personally, I'd fire him/her on the spot.
