I expect Apple to do something douchy about, basically everything. I'm surprised they haven't patented the wheel yet, and I wouldn't be surprised if they've already tried.

I've been there, and it's really difficult for me, especially because I'm not a very expressive person. All I say is "I'm very sorry for your loss, I'm here for you" and hug the person, but with more of a supportive feel to it, like a tighter hug. I've heard that hugging alone is better than any amount of words anyway.

That's exactly right. Some games have demos, and most of the time that's enough to see if you'll enjoy the game, but not all games have demos available, and I still rather play the real game before deciding.
