Yes.

It literally cannot be overstated...us liberal Christians who are pro-gay-rights/marriage, pro-choice and Feminists MUST take a stand against church abuse. Godly behavior is about love, not bigotry wrapped in self-righteous prayer and threats of hellfire.

We can't allow bigots to run roughshod over people and bully

All this drama about marriage equality! We've had it in Canada for years! /smug.

Well, to view it consensually you would have to click on a descriptive link first. Given that's not how the comments works, I'd say that's a no.

I would recommend weaning yourself off of the notion that it is appropriate for you to tell women how to feel about this.

I didn't understand how you were referring these very basic concepts. I work with a ton of people in public and reproductive health, and I don't need your pedantic and bold-typed aggression, please. I'm confident that I've read, understood, and interacted with an equal or greater amount of feminist and reproductive

Oh, Jeez. Here: THIS GUY IS EVIL AND SHOULD GO TO PRISON FOR EXPOSING PEOPLE TO HIV WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. DUH.

I feel like in general, if you become a parent so badly you resort to surrogacy, you should be best to be prepared to have a kid with a "catastrophic birth defect." It's hugely ableist to abort a kid purely because they have Down Syndrome.

I have a silent rage every time a gay man makes a comment about vaginas being disgusting.

I know this is light hearted but all I can think is: yay yet more men who think it's ok to criticise women's genitalia.

...and listened to his wife who thought Satan was a good theologian when he should have lead her and exercised his delegated authority as king of the planet.

Wait, can you clarify that for me? I'm passionately pro-reproductive rights, but at-will abortion even after a fetus is viable outside the womb seems ethically indefensible. Arguing that "abortion should be legal so long as the head hasn't emerged during labor" is a position you won't find many reasonable,

Fair enough.

I mean, I have a C-section horror story, courtesy of my mother-in-law. They cut open her bladder in the process, which is significantly worse than the worst tearing, because it's internal and requires all sorts of doctors.

well, what I've read (in very reputable journals) is that the rise in C-sections is attributable to the convenience of the doctors. They can schedule a Caesarian, unlike a vaginal delivery, which is messy and unpredictable. This has nothing to do with the health of the mother, baby, or society at large. Very different

Having a VBAC has absolutely nothing to do with the degree of tearing. Except that women who opt for CS end up with major abdominal surgery and the potential for complications, obvs they should choose that because it sounds much better than tearing.

This is so entirely a different thing. I can't adequately describe how different this is. There are reams and reams of data showing c-sections are overused, are used against the woman's wishes and have more complications than people appreciated for a long time. It's major surgery. As opposed to vaccines on which
