That’s weird... in a Nats/Giants game a couple of months ago... Zimmerman was hit on the wrist and the Giants challenged that it hit the bat; the play was given an official review and the hit by pitch was upheld.

How was that not reviewable? You can review whether the ball hit a batter’s hand or his bat; why couldn’t you review this? Replay is supposed to remove ambiguity, but it’s been implemented so badly that it only seems to have made the problem worse.

Definitely a case of Poe’s Law here. I’m usually very cognizant of it before I reply to something absurd, but didn’t even cross my mind that it might get flipped around on me as I was about to wade into the internet with a mildly distasteful joke.

That’s how my kid was when he broke his arm too (he was 3 or 4). It definitely hurt him, but he was up playing shortly after and we almost left the urgent care because he had us so convinced that he wasn’t in pain any more and must have been fine.

First - it was a joke. Second - I have kids. One of them broke both bones in his wrist and was more than capable of walking; but I understand that not everyone handles pain the same way. Third - it was a joke.

As someone who has spent most of their life rooting for the Gators, I know for a fact that you could sell the ever loving shit out of a t-shirt with that logo. The people who would buy that are also the reason I left Florida 20 years ago; but I would endorse the shit out of you making a bunch of money off of them.

This is the recipe that I use, and yes, I actually use a mixture of cherry and grape tomatoes for it rather than the larger varieties. Just pull off the stem/leaf ends and give them a rough chop, or quick pulse in the food processor before adding them to the pot.
