God, Mark’s stupidity correlated directly with his hotness. Doyle was such a soft, kind character. I do understand that killing him off was ‘necessary’ as far of the writers may have been concerned, and that the death of one of the main characters set Angel apart from Buffy as far as tone goes really early on. But

(The charges related to Mitch McConnell were later dropped...because anyone can google the address of the local zoo’s turtle pen and aquarium.)

Isn’t the limit for your own personal contribution no more than $19k (pre-tax, get taxed on interest later) + $6k (for a Roth IRA, so post-tax but you don’t get taxed on interest)? My understanding was the additional $37k was for employer or business contributions. Since most people aren’t going to be getting that

It’s the final season now. And there are some unresolved plot lines. I suspect Piper will take a smaller role this season anyway. She seems to have less of a role every season.

I suspect we’re not getting the Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies.

Season 1 was fucking phenomenal, and Doyle was truly the heart of it. I could not fucking believe they killed him off so early. Out of everyone that died in the Buffy/Angelverse, Doyle was a hero above them all.

Have a CFA or similar look at their 401k program. Many are heavy with up-front fees, poor performance, and end up losing a lot of money. I’ve avoided some plans because of this. One company I worked at had a 401k that was completely dependent on the performance of a life insurance company none of us ever heard of.

RIP (the actors that portrayed) Lorne and Doyle.

That may not have been what you meant, but a ridiculous amount of people don’t understand how tax brackets work. There are people who would turn down a raise because it pushes them into a higher tax bracket.

Taxes aren’t collected in a singular rate. You pay tax at each rate as you earn it. e.g. in 2019 a single taxpayer with a taxable income is $40,000 will pay 10% on the first $9,700, 12% on the next $29,775, and 22% on the last $525. Putting $525 into a 401k would eliminate the tax paid on it at that 22% rate but would

I don’t get your point, why does making it back into a lower tax bracket matter? The bracket rate only applies to the money in that bracket, not your entire AGI. Your effective taxation rate is not the highest tax bracket rate, but a function of all of the brackets you qualify for. You’re still going to pay 10% on the

Only the income above the last bracket is taxed at the higher amount, so while you would save some tax, it isn’t like all your income is now taxed at a lower rate.

Why do I feel like same time next year he’s going to call in to the Dave Ramsey Show to beg Dave to find a way to help him get out of $35k hole that a side gig like Uber ain’t going to help and Dave is going to that whole Capt. Picard palmface during the whole call.

From the article:

Well and that was my point to him. 35K is the MSRP for an Accord Hybrid Touring. Which let’s face it, won’t set your hair on fire, but when gas is at $3.50 a gallon right now (and that is really low for SoCal) 49MPG combined is pretty damn good for a car that comes with the A/C Seats along with the heated front and

Who cares, Charisma Carpenter is going to be there.

I met David Boreanaz once on jury duty. He was called to be a member of the jury pool the same day I was, and I noticed him sitting over to one side of the jury room. I summoned up the courage to approach him, slipped onto the bench next to him, leaned in, and quietly said “I’m a big fan of your work.” (It was clear

This is my take. I got lucky, the third Pill I tried works for me, and thankfully has for over ten years. I have a lot of girlfriends who suffer from really terrible bleeds and pains and they refuse to consider any sort of birth control because they tried one pill for a week 15 years ago and felt like it made them

For everyday onesies, get a bunch that are the same color and just put them all in a drawer. Since they are all the same you don’t need to see every option, when you are exhausted you can just dump them in there in a pile. No need to find the perfect onesie for her to spill mashed peas on, they are all the same!

Oh, trust me, I definitely don’t feel like I’ve lost anything by being on birth control - not having my internal organs adhering to each other has made a massive difference in my life. I’m just saying, even if I did lose a little bit, it would still be worth it to me because I’d be gaining so much in return.
