I want to take an aerial silks class. I have really sweaty hands so the trapeze scares me but I think I could hold onto the silk. My 3 year old did some tonightat MyGym and loved it.

My goal is to save up enough money from side hustles to get a new-to-me minivan. With two car seats it’d be nice to be able to drive a third adult sometimes. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just something from this decade and under 100,000 miles.

I didn’t even use paper cups. I just used the little plastic wrapper as a cup and dipped the stick in there. I had so many tests since you get a ton and I got pregnant really fast with #2. I didn’t even get to start using the ovulation ones, just a couple pregnancy tests.

I don’t buy toys for them either unless you count the occasional puzzle. My husband gave them some little stuffed animals in their stockings last year and they still love them. But we are constantly gifted toys including hand-me-downs.

I couldn’t even get pain killers prior to my laser eye surgery. I had to sit in the CVS with my BFF while he got my hydrocodone and sleeping pill prescriptions filled and I was in total agony.

I had abnormal pap smears for my seven years and my doctor is risk averse so I had annual colpos and biopsies the while time. Once it was so painful I literally screamed and then cried hysterically. Worse than back contractions and sciatics but at least it was over quickly. I learned to take my leftover hydrocodone

I’ve been doing the same with my family since I was in college and my husband’s family for nearly ten years. Kids get presents, adults get a secret Santa present. But my family stopped last year and just went all kids after some economic hardship. And my in-laws switched to white elephant but we’ve done it before and

The form wasn’t working on my phone and I completely forgot to try later on my desktop. Definitely up for saving money. Spotify is great for me, lots of kids music.

I almost made the same thing for thanksgiving but without the cream cheese. Even bought a tube of the crescent roll sheets but didn’t get around to making it.

We used to do it with a poor man’s double boiler. (One pot on top of the pot with boiling water). We’re not fancy, I had to look up bain-marie.

I’ve never had a diaper cream issue but we rarely use it at all and if there’s any redness we use a cloth diaper safe cream. Curious if we’re doing something wrong.

I also really like CJs Butter. It’s totally cloth diaper safe but it’s all I’ve ever used and we switched to disposable at 4 months with each kid (when they went to day care). https://cjsbutter.us/original-cjs-butter/

Here’s another couple anecdotes for the file...

I made my first cheese ball for thanksgiving. It was a little sweet, with honey and chopped up dried apricots and dates. My aunt always makes one for the holidays but I’ve never had one at my in-laws. But we’ll bring along my mississippii state cheese and share it. (Granddad always sends me two bricks of cheddar and

Yes, please. Let’s get it farther away from my birthday (December 30). It’s bad enough that I basically share with New year’s eve but maybe with Christmas in January I could get separate presents.

I made sugared pecans for the first time at thanksgiving, super easy. My grandad makes pecan pralines but they take much more effort.

never had a sexual harassment training, work for a very small business. Our annual trainings are only related to health and safety and first aid.

woot for shopkick. I just rediscovered it and I kinda like the product scanning. I hadn’t used it in awhile but I think I’ve earned 1,500 points in just the last two weeks with walk-ins, scanning, and a little shopping.

I’m surprised to see the lack of Thanksgiving morning traffic in LA, but maybe they aren’t looking at the traffic just outside town. It’s taken us over four hours to drive from south LA County to south San Diego county on Thanksgiving morning, never again. Now we leave late on Wednesday evening. Put the kids in their

We are big fans of the crazy chicken at our house. It’s just down the street, and funnily enough, they built a Popeye’s across from it on the ashes of an old KFC. Popeye’s is yummy but there’s just not enough chicken and it’s a bit overpriced.
