I hope Netflix would consider giving Alcatraz a second shot at life, since Fox almost certainly won't renew it.

No disagreement there, but she's obviously not in that category. Most of their freelance writers aren't recognizable names, and she doesn't warrant much in the way of a statement. Seems like ESPN handled severing ties with her properly, it was their lack of much in the way of a background check (to put it mildly)

Uh, that's not spin, that's how freelance work is handled. You can't really fire a freelancer, you just end the relationship. As someone who's done a bit of freelance writing work, trust me, it's seriously as simple as that.

Writing 10 articles isn't really a large amount for a freelancer. From every indication, she's always merely been a freelancer, so I don't see how it's spin. This isn't on ESPN, although they obviously should have done more of a background check.

As others have stated, I'm really surprised by the lack of any Nine Inch Nails, particularly Year Zero. I'd also throw in the Portal 2 soundtrack, myself.

You horse bigot.

All Beyonce songs should get this treatment.

Thank you — I always get those two mixed up.

The aliens look absolutely gorgeous.

They knew that I was a kid and let me off the hook but it hurt to have Apple crush your income stream, the income that had allowed me to avoid a high school job while my cohort was slaving away at part time jobs.

Welp, another game I probably won't be buying. Hint to developers: don't tell me it's going to be $90 to get the full game before it's even been released.

If the movie is even half as good as this trailer, I may pull a Justin Timberlake and jizz in my pants.

That rumor was incorrect. This game will use Gameloft's proprietary engine, just as the previous two games did.

This topic is about those games, though.

If Crytek's not going to make a Crysis for mobile platforms, I sure as hell ain't complaining if these guys are going to clone it. The first two N.O.V.A. games were fantastic, so I expect this to be no different.

With the exception of Bane and Batman fighting, I'm not a fan of the promotional images. Looks like a poor attempt to combine the movie with a comic book vibe.

The lawsuits between these two parties have been going on practically since the movie was being made. No surprise there's yet another one of 'em.

Paul Feig is fantastic. I think it's awesome Marc Webb got him involved, even if only for a small bit of the movie.

Says the guy responding to a two-month-old comment. Nope, sorry, none were listed. Try again.

Why is that surprising? I mean, they probably have a larger budget than NASA.
