I respectfully disagree with your comment. It seems to me that no matter which magazine or online source is reviewing a new GM product, all seem to highlight refinement and balance as hallmarks. I think GM could nail it. I hope they try.

Never doubt GM. They made the ATS one of the best handling sport sedans on the market.

That would be a good foil to the FR-S/BRZ. A bit more power, but less refined vs. less power but greater refinement. Would be nice to have the choice.

From what I've read about the 997 Turbo not having a manual is an improvement. When launching had from a standstill you had to be ready to shift to 2nd as soon as you dropped the clutch in 1st. Having PDK will improve performance in all areas.
