Spare the cars. Pull their licence, make them take public transit for the rest of their life. Nothing would be more torturous to a gear-head. Ok, maybe driving a Prius ;)

Yeah my Mazda 3s is about 8 secs give or take. Not slow, but not quick, I call it punchy. Say what you will about the styling interior/exterior but that little car has great feedback. Mazda knows how connect car with driver...because Miata (had to throw that in there)
Not gonna happen. Racing costs a boatload (see also fuckton) of money, and it's not like BMW is in the red and needs more exposure. Prove me wrong BMW, prove me wrong...
Bingo. And by "fidget" you mean install a real suspension setup.
GTI does it in what, like 7 give or take depending on transmission. Then again their 2.0T is a bit underrated. It's not the 0-60 that is of most concern but more the chassis/suspension/steering feel. Hyundai/Kia has a ways to go in this area, but mad props for trying.
They probably wanted him to put a damn shirt on, or at least button it up (Re: music videos) No one needs to see that.
I really hope they don't go the Veloster Turbo route, nice looking "sport" compact that doesn't really perform as well as it should. Add more hp and 2 more doors, make sure it has and independent rear suspension, price under 23k, I am sold.
I've emailed KIA a few times asking them to use that mill in a sport-compact. Unlike other automakers they actually call you and follow up. However, they give the typical corporate response "Thank you for your suggestion, your input is important to us we will forward your response to our product development team..."
I would buy this car for the sound alone.
I once got a chance to drive a F430 on a track, when that thing hit WOT on the front straight the sound was amazing. I still hear it in my dreams, I'm sure the 458 is even better.
Yeah I'd be pretty hesitant about sloppy seconds on a GT-R
Yeah I held on a little longer than most.
Man, I miss The Simpsons. In high-school and college I was a total Simpsons junkie then sometime around 2005 it started to fall off. A couple of good episodes here and there, but nothing like the Conan O'Brien days.
Now that...is how to make a Super Bowl car commercial. I'm looking at you Mercedes.
Agree, from a customer retention perspective they are playing the long-game well. They handled it way better than Toyota with the unintended acceleration thing, which really turned out to be user error (see black box data) in many cases. But blaming the customer, even if it is really them, usually doesn't bode well…
I love The Hire, I watch "Star" at least once a year to get my E39 fix.
Good one
Mercedes...you are better than this. Take a note from VW,
