The Focus ST is a bonkers car. Though I have had a few clients who bought new Foci (?) they have been nothing but problems, and not just minor gripes like the SYNC system: oil leeks, bad wheel bearings etc... not good. The ST is no exception. Check the forums before you make the dive.

I'm with you on Subaru. I just wish their high-performance models didn't break down so much. STis, WRXs, Legacy GTs all had serious issues.
