Looks promising, Hyundai you need to make this but a couple of things: 1. Must be RWD (AWD o.k) 2. Have a half-decent auto transmission. Super bonus points for manual option (not gonna happen but just thought I'd put it out there) 3. V8 option 4. For all that is holy, do not give it a stupid name like HCD-14, that

Probably not. When I bought a new Mini Cooper in '04 the dealership showed me a picture (similar to the pic included) of one that was in a wreck, a Cooper S JCW 6-Speed far from a boring car. Apparently, the dude fell asleep at the wheel and hit a concrete pillar that held up an overpass at 60mph. The guy survived

Sure thing man, my wife is connected to a lot folks in the SCI/Disability community, I will have her link it as well.

Toyota Sienna, because sometimes you need a comfortable, family-hauler, that will run forever. Our '08 XLE has been great, night and day better that the horrendous '03 Ford Windstar crap-box we used to have. Also, the current gen Siennas look kinda bad-ass (for a minivan) in SE trim.

+1 Mazda6 diesel wagon!

HA!

Best of luck to you, my wife has paralysis so I have some idea how much of a struggle this is. I am really looking forward to seeing some of your hoonage!

Honey Baked Ham for SiriusXM....awesome. Sounds fair to me ;)

You are correct, most customers are not looking for wagons. But I think there are enough of us to make a business case for one. I realize it is probably not going to happen, but that won't stop me from bugging Mazda to indulge my wagon fantasies.

I was a former SiriusXM customer, I loved counter-offering them after I cancelled. I would usually start with Pandora (Slacker, whatever you like) is free I want 12 months for 12 dollars, you can make some money or no money. Good luck with bankruptcy. They eventually stopped calling.

CTS-V was a crap-load of money, but well worth it. All I know is if Acura can sell enough limp TSX wagons too keep the model going in the USA, not to mention the Jetta TDI "sport" wagons, I think Mazda could do some damage.

Brilliant!

Brilliant! That would be hilarious that no matter what the Mazda rep says the overwhelming response would be "bring the wagon" also an appropriate response "bring manual diesel wagon"

Paul Newman. Great actor, great racer, all around great guy. I always say I want to retire like him racing cars at 80yrs old RIP...

I support your conclusion, well said. I just have one more thing to add...because Miata.

+1 For Connor's sake I hope heaven resembles Jay Leno's garage, or whatever dream garage he dreams up.

So, when autonomous cars take over will future BMWs be programmed for parking asshatery?

I regards to mainstream brands i.e. BMW/Honda I wonder if there is an inverse relationship between "losing your way" and an increase in sales figures. So, if this theory is true than logic dictates if Audi wants to out-sell BMW they need to do the following: 1. Give up on Quattro 2. Fire their exterior design team

Not sure I would say that Hyundai has sports cars to be "reckoned with", they still have a ways to go in terms of transmission linkage and suspension/chassis tuning but you gotta start somewhere and I give them props for trying. In another 5yrs or so they will be a serious player in the performance segment just as

Does anyone remember when Honda floated around the idea of making a coupe version of the S2000? So instead of beating the Toyobaru twins to the punch they decide to kill off the whole thing, crap all over the Civic and make the Crosstour. Bravo Honda, Bravo!
