2008-2010 Audi RS6 Avant. Because twin-turbo Lambo V10 crammed into a wagon.

As a Mazda3 owner I would attest that this may be the best car in its class for '02-'12 for the reasons you stated above.

No worries, take your time. I really appreciate you taking the time to give me a detailed response.

Yikes, so much for that theory. At least if a used M3 craps out on you, you can at least say you once owned an M3.

So I guess the mythical status of invincible Outbacks and Foresters is not all its cracked up to be. I had a 05 Legacy that I had to get rid of due to clutch problems, I just chalked it up to bad luck. In your experience what have you found to be the common issues with Subies? As a car-buying consultant your insight

Duh, the Lincoln Continental...the car that will save the brand. It will be stylish, affordable, and give the luxury status-quo a run for their money. Oh that's right they aren't building this car, their just changing their name, never mind...

You win!

Only time will tell for the Toysbaru, but both Toyota and Subaru have pretty solid reliability histories, so this car should be doubly reliable right ? ;) My humble prediction is that any of these that haven't been hooned to death (there won't be many) will make for pretty reliable cheap sports cars in 5-10 years.

Got one of those last year, awesome. Second best gift next to my Ferrari track-day experience.

Winner! Red, check. Snow worthy, check. Can haul a crap-load of stuff, check, faster than magic reindeer, you betcha. I totally want one of these for Christmas.

Yes, but it's only $169 for a 911 or a GT-R (still well worth it). But if you want to drive a F430 or Gallardo it is $299.

That's not a Q car. Only the next gen Infinitis can be Q cars, didn't you get the memo sheesh! ;)

Since this is fantasy and all why not fantasize about a car not sold in the US for 2012. I will let my wagon obsession get the better of me on this one.

I know right. If I only had like a billion dollars to buy one, then another $250k for the Martini livery.

Uh, yeah.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy analyzing texts of all kinds: fiction, poetry, film, etc...but like you said there is a difference between analysis for the sake of growth and understanding and analysis to just impress people.

When I first thought about this question, I was selfish; my immediate reaction was something totally bonkers like Bugatti or an F40. But I am going to agree with Matt on this one and take a 911 that way my wife and son (he is only 3 months so he can fit in the back) can cruise along with me. The Porsche is an icon

Sometimes I feel like Seinfield discussing the "craft of comedy" is like all the Literary Criticism I had to read as a Lit Major in college. Lit Crit really only exists for people who read Lit Crit. It does little for the stories themselves or the millions of everyday readers who just want to enjoy a damn good story,

I would have to agree with you on Subaru. As cool as it would be to work for Ferrari or Porsche, it's a nice realistic choice. Aside from the convince factor of also being a S. Jersey native, Subie as a small car-maker really believes in their engineering philosophy, it's not just marketing. They have a nice balance

Well you guys are off to a good start with health care for everyone. I believe the next important social initiative for our neighbors to the north is "Quattros for everyone!" If that happens, I am totally moving to Canada.
