Did anyone notice that these new-found child soldiers are literally wearing the torn and tattered uniforms of dead adult soldiers?

No, I linked the wrong SKU though.
Actually, yeah, depending on on the kind of particle and such, they don’t have the energy to penetrate human skin. The biggest risks from the kinda of radiation that doesn’t kill you in DAYS, is not them getting ON you, it’s getting IN you, like into the food and water supply. There are even WWII uranium cubes that…
The YF-22 first flew in 1990. ...Yeah, the ATF program has been going on a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile. o.o
“Elon Musk? Yeah we just call him ‘Captain Billable Hours’ in our office. That idiot is a half dozen bad tweets from having *me* buy all of Tesla’s stock and taking the place over.”
Laywers: You should settle and make this go away.
Musk: NEVER!!! THE RULES OF SOCIETY DO NOT APPLY TO ME!!!
Lawyers: We get paid even if you lose, we get paid more this way even, so we’re gonna pick out new cars and boats until you calm down.
If the ship didn’t have replicator tech, it would KINDA make sense, because the ship would have to transport a supply of water for the ships various needs. Even if it could endlessly recycle the water, having a means to jettison a fack tonne of water in an emergency would make sense.
That said, one would think instead…
Great, now I have to Google why a game about bicycles needed censorship...
As someone with PCs hooked up to TVs, Steams ‘Big Picture Mode’ is a big seller for me. 10 foot interface for launching PC games is exactly what I need. So far no other company has made a 10 foot interface for their launcher and it’s disappointing. :/
Maybe it was that. When I ran CRTs it was usually 85hz cause 60hz well, hurt. So maybe 70 was a norm? We didn’t have a PC till a some 3-4 years after Doom released so I have no meaningful information on common refresh rates around then. And even today, most YouTubers targeting retro stuff, do 60hz if they can…
I’m mostly just surprised that Doom in it’s original incarnation, ran it’s logic at 35fps. That’s such an oddball, unround number.
Minor correction, but for the vast majority of subway trains, all the cars are propulsion units. They all have motors in their trucks or bogies and all pull power from the rail, so each car is pulling only its own weight. It makes it a lot more distributed than having a very large traction engine in only one car. Also…
The thing is, I generally prefer to be seated at a desk for something like Civ. The mouse is easier to use AND by the nature of those games, I can also just have the TV going with shows concurrently while gaming.
I love Steam BPM since I have HTPCs, so I can MOSTLY get a very joyable, console like, couch friendly mode for playing games. Sure I wouldn’t play Civilization that way, but for something like Tomb Raider, it’s great.
Bullet holes marred the south wall. He didn’t know why, and chalks it up to some kids partying too hard nearby.
AnimeMusicVideos.org is a user submission site, it doesn’t search out to archive content, it hosts and indexes AMVs submitted by users. It’s a pre-youtube thing. That said it’s been in decline since 2006, the year YouTube rolled out. It was never updated to current web expectations, so while once the central hub of…
Yeah and The Org is a dead community, mostly running on AutoPilot, so it’s death could be imminent or it could be languish for years. It’s a matter of when someone stops paying to keep the lights on.
I came across a user planning to erase a backup of AnimeMusicVideos.org, he’d won in for donating funds in 2015 and it’s every video plus the database. He was on hard times, needed storage space and was going to erase the drive to reuse it. Me and some friends jumped on it, offering him money to buy a new drive with…
That’s super neat looking! ...It also looks terrible. :O
