My 6 year old watches this show and I'm of two minds about it. On the one hand it teaches a lot of good things about accepting yourself and others. On the other hand it spreads a lot of mineralogical misinformation. One of the ‘Gems’ is a pearl for goodness sake!

I’m a staunch preservationist and archivist. I believe literally everything should be documented, archived, and/or preserved (except for obviously things that shouldn’t be, and even then those should be at least as long as it’s evidence).

The thing that I love about SU is that every time you start looking closely at it, you see something new that really needs to be said in this world. My wife and I discuss this show every chance we get, and frankly I am in awe of Rebecca and the staff at just how much they manage to stuff into an 11-minute episode.

When I first caught a glimpse of the show “The 100" 5 years ago at my buddy place I swore to god that Paige Turco was Lori Loughlin who had been encased in carbonite for 20 years. Then Fuller House came out and Lori Loughlin looked 10 years younger than Turco. It’s kind of amazing.
