Japanese love standardized stuff.
The dialog is partly due to how the Japanese language and culture are.
The overused tropes stuff is even more present in the original dialogs. The translators often will add a lot to the translations or downright change them so they won't sound to stiff or repetitive in English. Often the original dialog feels like…
Whey you say "horribly written stories", what exactly do you mean by that?
The character interactions are boring? Or do you think the issue lies within the setting and the world the story is set in?
Well, failing to make something funny is normal. I just happen to fail more often than other people.
Well, if you look at it from another angle, Boll is exploiting a "glitch" in the robot's code. When you do something like that in some online game, how is it called?
The robot can only play "by the rules" that were programmed into it.
From the "point of view" of the robot, the human is cheating by using a tactic it was not programmed to respond to. And exactly this is what shows our advantages over machines (for now).
I was not saying "dirty tactics" as a bad thing, it is just the…
"I've heard that humans are not able to function when Oxygen is not present. So today we're going to test that by cutting out the Oxygen supply in this room."
"I've heard that humans won't function when this gaseous substance called Oxygen is not present. So today we're going to test that by cutting out the Oxygen supply in this room."
And isn't this part of what makes us human?
Yeah, it looks like something straight out of a Game Boy Advance game thrown in another completely different game, almost like they just applied some filter (like 2xSal or something) and thought it was good enough.
Just wait until they can do the same:
"We will now test how your brain can come up with dirty tactics now that the room is flooded with deadly neurotoxins."
Win by employing dirty tactics... this is so... human...
Because the end result was not quite what they expected.
Maybe they choose it so using layered animation wouldn't look too obvious?
Lu te ho Sou Kou...? (They probably meant Kousou Hotel (高層ホテル)
I think that's because the pixel art is too small for an HD game. Heck, it would be small even for a PS2 game.
Could it be that Ubisoft is using a Realtime Ray Tracing engine for that E3 footage?
The Japanese name of this toy uses the phrase "niginigi" (ニギニギ) and that refers to "nigeru" (握る), which means to "grasp" or "seize", or here, "mould sushi." That's why this comes with sushi making tools that will have you (well, children) form a delicious-looking meal.
Thanks, guys who made this game, for leaving me out because I don't have Twitter or Facebook.
