Luckey said they would be giving every backer who pledged for a DK1 a finalized version of the product. There were 7000+ backers who preordered a DK1 through Kickstarter. Does that would mean OR is giving away over $4,655,428.00 worth of finalized OR units to backers (who already own a DK1)?

Minecraft is one of the most successful games on PC. If anything this probably tells that people are willing to accept cheap, sub-par graphics.
