The only part I find annoying is that they made it out of old, weathered materials. I would suppose this is to make it seem more 'gritty' or 'street'. I imagine the people watching thinking "Oh, yes, it is very urban, isn't it?"

What's the point of Jackson Pollock?
If it means an army of red-headed girls charging towards me, I welcome this revolution.
Incredibles 2 would be so hard to do right. What did the first movie not say that still needs to be said?
This looks more like Dreamworks than Pixar, and that's not a good thing. I don't need jokes about butts and farts to be entertained.
From what I understand, it's only the Vertigo characters who started out as DC characters. So Shade (tCM), Constantine, Swamp Thing, House of Mystery and such are in, while Fables, Sweet Tooth, Northlanders and such are out.
The fact that it's not a special effect just makes it soooo much creepier.
Wakes up in the middle of the night? You're assuming he sleeps. He's the Batman, y'know.
It's not just little insignia. Spider-Man looks like his suit was made from old basketballs, Batman is wearing a rubber jigsaw puzzle and Thor was wearing plastic armor.
Ancient Chinese wizard Popeye?
I do not more easily associate with a textured rubber bodysuit.
Then what do you make of this?
Anyone who's read Dark Knight Strikes Again (which really isn't as bad as people say it is) would know that his Batman would be leading the charge. On a horse.
That's your opinion on The Batman. I liked the designs, for the most part (Joker.... yeah, no). Just because they've tried some other styles that haven't worked doesn't mean all other styles won't work.
Okay I love the DCAU and all, but... Bruce Timm's art was great when Batman:TAS started. Iconic, fluid, natural and beautiful. It was still pretty good in Superman, but things were getting simplified and shoulders started to widen. By New Batman Adventures, a lot of the roundness and fluidity had been replaced with…
At about 1:10 - 1:14. The dwarves are with the Huntsman.
I didn't see Journey to the Center of the Earth and I didn't want to. This... looks a little interesting.
His costume in U3 was horrid and unneeded. He had already been running around in the first two volumes sans mask. Anyone who wanted to could (and did) identify him. This is why he lost his wife and kids. So now he puts on a mask? Does he hope people think that this Hawkeye is a DIFFERENT Hawkeye?
