I started watching them again not too long ago to try and figure out why I didn't like them. It was at the beginning of HB2, with the walkthrough of the BIRD lobby that I realized, if you switched out the characters, it was identical to MIB.

That's kind of why I don't like the Hellboy movies. Too much action, not enough skulking through the dark.
