Absolutely. And this is the future *some* people want for America.

“...and it’s one that’s done before.”

When did she change her name from Dafne Keen to Dafne King?

What I remember most about TPM—I was watching the pod racing starring the young child Anakin. Then I thought about the whiny, spoiled brat Luke was at the beginning of Episode 4, and what a serious disappointment he must have been.

That really sucks. And future looks no better. I wonder who will get stuck with the 78 million tons of waste solar panels projected to be generated annually by 2050. Hell. Landfills can’t take them now because of the high level of toxic metals that leach out of them when broken.

And Fantastic Four. Easy to pull them AND a proper Dr. Doom into the MCU.

I sincerely hope it isn’t filled with abjectly stupid people, as those inhabiting A Quiet Place.

Everyone raves about A Quiet Place. Yes, it was beautifully filmed. Yes, it had excellent atmosphere. But...the people in it were stoopid to the nth degree. And there were ridiculous plot holes you could drive a lorry through. These should disqualify it as one of the best movies of the year. After all, “Signs” by

Yup. Totally fake.

But, if DC continues as they have, they will not use Melissa Benoist in the movie. She is as perfect a Supergirl as Grant Gustin is a Flash. Sorry, but Ezra Miller doesn’t work as well as Grant Gustin. And it’s likely the cinema Supergirl will also fail to measure up.

I still fail to understand what Amazon will bring to the table that will “improve” on Peter Jackson’s classic.

Star Trek: Discovery has no apparent fun side? Is that why it’s so dreary to watch?

I found the original to be peculiarly charmless. I hope I like this one better.

I so wanted to like this series, because I liked the books. But in the book “Impulse”, the protagonist was a brilliant and very likable character. Henry is not. I got 8 episodes in before I realized that I didn’t care what she did or what happened to her.

Very timely. As movers in society push harder to eradicate nonconforming opinions, we grow closer to the “ideal” shown in Bradbury’s book. Can’t speak for the movie, since I haven’t seen it yet.

I agree completely.

I agree completely. But I thought they’d flounder after the season 1 finale. I’ve seen so many scripted shows over the years that I’m seldom surprised, but this show has done so repeatedly.

“Eleanor and her friends have spent the past two years learning how to be better people...”
