@Ajh: I bought an expensive copy of the relatively rare game Quest for Glory V. It's my favourite game of all time and I lost my original copy.

@battra92: I wish my partner considered me buying a new bathing suit as getting a good deal :D
@Unknown-User: Well, there is no snow or frozen lakes where I live so that might severely detract from the appeal ;)
@Daemon_Gildas: Haha I thought about that as I wrote my post but didn't feel like getting into so much detail.
These look like the kinds of presents acquaintances would buy me when I was eight years old. Aka, really, really crappy makeup. I mean, I guess you shouldn't knock something til you've tried it, but just looking at the apparent texture and lack of quality presentation makes me run away screaming.
@Batman: I love voice acting in games, but I feel for the most part the quality of voice acting in games has been on the decline. This was driven home to me when I loaded up Gabriel Knight 1 for the first time in a few years - the voices were all so well done, each had so much character. Monkey Island 3 and The…
@battra92: You are a good fiance :)
@Ajh: I almost always download a no-cd patch for pretty much any game I install (and I own all my games). I used to lose or misplace my discs allll the time before I found out about no-cds - they are just way more convenient. I don't see any problem whatsoever with using them as long as you own the game.
I guess I'm the opposite of most people. I LOVE the summer, I love getting out in the sun and wearing as minimal clothing as possible and absorbing the rays and walking around the moonlit streets on warm and humid nights.
Buying a flash cart was the best thing that ever happened to me, gaming-wise. I travel a LOT, and it was frustrating either picking and choosing what three or four games to bring in my carry-case or having to carry a messy heap of them in my handbag to cater to my random DS game whims.
@Jibbletoad: Absolutely. No questions about it. Go buy it! =D
@Cynical1: It's okay, the same thought crossed my mind. My mind can't comprehend a single reason they would take pets out of GW2, so I also figured it was pretty freakin obvious. Just like the *gasp* RETURN of Warriors and Elementalists!
@CloserDivision: Took the words right out of my mouth.
@stone500: I feel a thousand times more immersed in a game when playing in 3D. I wished for effective, affordable 3D 'before'; I cared then, I care now. There are more 'people like me' than others seem to think.
@UndeadDino: You can attend a trip without killing things. Everything I (and others) said still stands.
I say — it's totally worth it! :D
I've always been angered by righteous parents, religious movements and crazy lawyers who think that what one does in a video game is a representation of a potential capacity to do the same in real life. Just because one can murder a virtual human without a second thought and experience zero remorse was always a…
@UndeadDino: You kill things, to please your parents?
I would totally be all over that were 'Miserable little Pile of Secrets' shirt if it came in a flattering baby tee.
I LOVE MINI-GAMES!
