Don't tell my mother that. She still thinks getting raped has to do with walking around alone at night and being around men in trench coats who hang out in dark alleys.
Yeah but if women didn't get drunk they wouldn't get raped.
I can sort of see where she's coming from? Maybe?
I only worked with a celebrity once and we were using her image for donations. (This was a charity.) Her PR people had to sign off on every use of her image, voice, her name on ads, etc. I don't know if the celebrity did, but her people did.

Because regardless of the non-conformist she claims to be, she very much is.
Yeah exactly! "If slavery was so great, then why don't you go sign up for it?"
I knew a guy who acted like the Civil War ended two weeks ago. He was so emotionally wrapped up in it. Then he went on and on about state's rights, and if he wanted to own a person that was his right as an American and why should we take that away?

By the times the credits rolled, I was yelling, "I just want my life back!"
That's how I felt about Once Upon a Time in America. I was living in Germany at the time so I got the longer version.
I'm thinking this just another faux (see what I did there?) feud to drum up more media attention and moviegoers. Bleh.
I wish I could find the Robin Givhan article that called out Lady Gaga's fashion choices. Givhan basically said that just because Lady Gaga dresses up in outrageous costumes doesn't make her a fashion icon; it just makes her someone who dresses up in outrageous costumes and nothing more.
A friend of mine has not one but two kids using the Rhythm Method. Like...she didn't learn her lesson the first time?
