I'm so glad they're looking out for my well-bring. My ladybrain can't handle such major decisions. Could they also help me out with equal pay legislation, better health care for my low-income sisters, and mandatory paid maternity leave?

Preach it! This reeks of Jodie Foster or that Kony guy. You can only manipulate public attention to your benefit (PROFIT!) for SO LONG. Then it gets out of control. Paparazzi they will come but it's a beast you cannot control — no matter what your PR people tell you, you can't. I am a PR person. I know! People

Oh dear God. I must send this to a friend of mine who modeled her whole outlook on romantic relationships, dating, and marriage on ROMCOMS! (For example, she refused to date anyone unless they were getting married. She was 17 at the time.) I asked her how on earth she would know what a good relationship would look

I agree with you, but I know someone who has gotten a DUI. He didn't THINK he'd had that much to drink. He was a big guy so he assumed that it was all good. I've heard this from other people as well. They think it's all good because they're not vomiting or anything. It doesn't really hit you until it's too late.

I was thinking the same thing! Because if it's one thing that show taught us, it's that EVERY WOMAN falls neatly into one of the four personalities on that show. Just like guys and the characters on Entourage!

Bingo! Plus I don't need to KNOW THAT MUCH about everyone. I'm your coworker not your therapist.

I agree with that. Talk about walking on eggshells. If I had a bad day, I couldn't get upset because my ex would tell me it'd "ruin everything" and then he'd be upset.

You know what that defense reminds me of? All the nasty companies like Monsanto, Cargill, Microsoft, ExxonMobil, BP, etc. who do super nasty things, yet they engage in corporate philanthropy to "balance" out their crappy actions. And whenever they get called on their ethics, there just happens to be some

It really bugs me that I didn't know about that until I read the comments in this article. How did that nonsense not make the more of a news splash?!?

I think the "Greek" system does a pretty good job of stirring up resentment all on its own. I do like your other point though about the haves and have nots. When I was in college, we were more heterogeneous. Now students are becoming more and more insulated and homogeneous — it's sad. The reason they're so braze

I might cheat on Jezebel with you. That saved me!

Jezebel. I love you, girl, you know I do. But I will do anything, I will say anything, anything you want, baby, if you would just take down that movie ad for The Place Beyond the Pines. Because at this point, honey? That ad is making me go insane.

It's kinda hard being Ann Currieeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

"Brown refused to support her or the child and eventually texted Maldonado that he was giving up his parental rights."

Yep. And that's what this guy is doing. HE didn't want the child initially. But when he saw the bio mom not wanting to raise the child either (just like him!), THEN he changed his mind. Ugh.

Yeah I didn't understand that either? The mother was a non-Native so what difference does it make (culturally) if she raised her versus the current adoptive parents. Sounds like the guy wanted to parent on his terms, i.e. whenever he felt like it.

I'd think NOT giving up your parental rights would be one way to be a good parent. I'm having a hard time with sympathy here. He obviously wanted no part of this child's life when he found out his fiancee was pregnant. Naturally, the woman assumed the decision for the child's future was solely in her hands. She

That wasn't my takeaway either.

Well at least there's a Republican out there who can SAY the word unlike the ones in Michigan.

"As far as personality goes, I think you'll find at an Asian woman, in general, is more caring and thoughtful to her partner, more loyal and trusting."
