Well, that sure is a proportional reaction to the comment I posted.

Andrew House does have an extremely unpleasant speaking voice.

I can at least see a big dope like Adam Boyes actually being a real gamer, even if most executives probably play about as many games in a year as I watch football games. Which is next to nothing.

'tis true. "Console debut" is becoming the "timed exclusive DLC" of this gen.

The most charismatic person at Microsoft is still a drone, though. That's the sad thing. Despite all the logo t-shirts and whatnot, he still doesn't feel genuine about anything he says.

This seems like an excessive response.

"Console debut".

The wording that PR-Bot Spencer used was "console debut", so this sounds like a typical timed exclusive indie launch.

I don't think he did at all. It's actually kind of genius - he makes games that take (comparatively) little effort to put together, and then mines the fact that Youtube personalities LOVE jump-scare games like this to get his game a ton of free press.

Closer to release? Game's still almost a month off.

I don't play these games. As someone prone to stress and anxiety, they're precisely the kind of games that I just wouldn't enjoy actually sitting down and powering through.

Unfortunately, FFX isn't good enough of a game for me to double dip.

With cross-buy? Please?

I don't know, I just picked 1200 as an arbitrary "really high" number because the concept of having 1200 gold is mind-boggling to me after Guild Wars 2 has trapped me in the 15-20 gold ghetto for the past month.

Every time I've ever seen a player-driven economy, I've seen prices for things like this balloon into the stratosphere based on demand. Keep in mind that this is an item that CAN ONLY BE generated if someone pays real cash for it - this means supply is going to be extremely low.

RENDER UNTO CAESAR THAT WHICH IS HIS.

Wait. I'm confused here. So by "the shop", they mean the cash shop, correct?

This seems like the kind of thing I would never in a million years see while playing, because MMO RNGs hate me.

Good point. I suppose they did put plenty of effort into their microtransaction con job.

I find that remarkably difficult to believe considering we haven't even seen a single real trailer for the game yet.
