I mean, they aren’t really. I don’t think there’s any argument that esports aren’t a competitive event or that they don’t require training and skill, but there’s no athleticism (the biggest common thread to sports) whatsoever. I don’t mind the two being treated similarly, but playing video games is kind of the

I hate online being a requirement for games, but I have solid internet and was never planning to play it offline, so I’m not particularly burned by this news. I feel for those of you who would rather play offline with bots, though. I don’t know why you would want to do that, but I hope you get the option.

Further evidence to support my point.

Ah, the ghosts of Other M still seem to be haunting the series today. Did anybody actually think Adam bossing Samus around would be an issue in this game? I’m confident that nobody actually felt that way.

It’s not a new entry, but it’s Nintendo doing something with the franchise again. I’ll call that a win.

No fucking way. There’s so much here that I couldn’t have expected, and it’s getting me rock-hard. It’s a Metroid announcement, it features gameplay, it’s a game that isn’t Prime 4 (so a second Metroid game in development), it’s a return of the Metroid Dread name, and it’s coming out this year.

I’ll give you $3.50

I personally don’t see the humor in this guy being so stressed, but I think it’s because I’m in a situation where I can relate. I’m not driving a truck or anything (I wait tables), but we’re so understaffed that everyone’s juggling two to three times the usual workload right now, and it’s a damn miracle that anything

Hell 2: Coming this Fall

I remember thinking “hey, I just got a 1080Ti not that long ago, and the 20xx cards seem pretty underwhelming, so I’m just gonna wait it out”. Then the 30xx cards premiered with about three cards worldwide available for the average consumer to buy, and I realized that I’m gonna be waiting longer than I had planned.

People have been using custom drivers for years. I don’t know what’s stopping them from doing it now.

Hey, just because I want a fancy new GPU doesn’t make me a miner!

This is too much hype for a Sonic game.

Man, Twitch is the most inconsistent platform.

This feels like a bad take to me.
