On a fairly unrelated note, I'm sort of hoping for a new naming structure for the console. The PS Vita is kind of weird, but I think it's a lot better than PSP2 (which is headed down a very cumbersome path). They can definitely keep the Playstation branding, but I'm hoping they'll find something more

Same here. This is all that's holding me back from getting it. Unlike the 3DS, which already has Tales of the Abyss, Ocarina of Time, SMT Devil Survivor, and Etrian Odyssey going for it and I'm still not interested...

Don't underestimate peoples' incompetence ;)

Yeah really, considering how obscure and jargony most laws are, it's pretty ridiculous to expect people to learn them all on their own and always perfectly follow them. They clearly have good intentions, and I'm sure it's simply a matter of them not knowing about it. This seems to be a case where just a slap on the

No I mean I want to go back to Red/Blue where the extent of the story was a character going on his Pokemon journey. The narratives in Pokemon are not good. In fact, they are typically terrible. And considering the target demographic and the style of the series in general, the stories will NEVER be anything

DLC in general is already ridiculous. XIII-2 is just continuing to make me hate it more and more.

Scrapping breeding is a terrible idea. There are NO Pokemon of value—everything gets cloned/hacked anyway and it's easy to trade for just about anything. Breeding allows for Pokemon to get unique moves and allows us to further customize Pokemon. Plus it's nice to be able to have multiple starters and such.

I'm a little disappointed that the classes are back in the direction of 1 and 2 (I loved 3's unique selection), but still excited about the game in general. If I ever get a 3DS that is...

Glad they're cutting down on the delay between JPN and ENG releases, and also glad that they've finally acknowledged that fans aren't idiots/that the internet exists and are announcing the game in the US instead of pretending it doesn't exist.

Unbelievable. Instead of making a simple third version, they are now making direct sequels (which are probably going to be the same as third versions except now split into two games). I've been having trouble bringing myself to continue playing B/W after I beat the Pokemon League, and with how they seem to be

In FFIV? I'm sure you can't, just like you can't beat the bosses and probably most of the enemies in FFXIII by just using auto-battle and basic paradigms.

I agree, but Black and White was a step in the right direction. More interesting/involved characters, the ability to only use the new Pokemon until you beat the game, etc. And frankly, the fanbase doesn't want a complete revamp to the game formula. Just continued evolution with new Pokemon, moves, and lands is more

I'm looking forward to finally having a reason to boot up my Wii again. Skyward Sword was the first time I used my Wii in a very long time, and I got burnt out while doing a replay in Hero Mode. Now I'm excited for Xenoblade in April and The Last Story this summer.

That's pathetic. I have never been a fan of IGN.

So you got through the entire game of FFXIII without ever changing paradigms? Even if you were to do that, you wouldn't be getting 5 stars in battle (which is akin to beating a game on the easiest difficulty).

Yeah, now that they added auto-battle to FFIV on PSP I don't have to press ANY buttons in battle!

Yeah, I really made a conscious effort to read all the books I was finding in Oblivion, but it got to be so cumbersome and tedious (not to mention I was finding the same books over and over) that I just lost interest and gave up.

I would be fine with this if this were actually the case, but oftentimes it isn't. Square-Enix blatantly developed FFXIII-2 with the intention of releasing DLC that players need to pay for. And from what I've heard, there have been leaked materials which suggested that the ME3 DLC in question was also planned early

These are my thoughts exactly. I think the whole DLC movement is getting way out of hand, and it's not going to slow down until people stop actually buying the DLC. As tempting as the DLC for FFXIII-2 is, considering I love the game, I intend to not buy it because I hate how Square-Enix is handling the whole ordeal

So the script leaks demonstrate that this DLC was planned earlier on? This is exactly why I have a problem with day-one DLC (and DLC in general). Developers/publishers might say that they're just doing this during their free time after the game has already been sent off for publishing, but I've seen plenty of
