A number of my friends (including one I’m close to) know Larry Kaufman through RenFaire. This is just so horribly cruel, especially because there was hope last night that he’d survived and been in surgery. My close friend is taking it pretty hard.

Yup. People will definitely believe what they wish if it gives them a target to hate. And that hate gives them some perception of power. It’s really sad to watch.

Yeah, no argument here (just didn’t feel germane to my initial topic). It made me sad, ‘cause the first 3 or 4 books were great. By about Book 5, I was noticing his Objectivism starting to edge in, and I dropped it there. Shame, really. =\

How about none? Because if women were in there for abortion services the fetus is too young to be a ‘baby’. If they were in for prenatal/other medical services, they might have eventually been a baby that was under gestational age, thus they wouldn’t survive if the mother died.

Gah, I just can’t with that. Fuck all those people.
