I guess what makes me the saddest is how this will impact this clinic’s patients. I really hope they don’t have to travel too far in order to receive whatever services they might need at the other clinics, and that those clinics can take the temporary influx of patients.

Even if you don’t work for one anymore, you’re awesome. I triply love and support PP staff after finally visiting one last week. In all my years going to doctor’s appointments, I’ve never felt more at ease than last week. So all y’all -current or former- are A++ eggs in my book.

My parents watch Fox News. In spite of how terrible they are 99.9% of the time, their current coverage is actually decent. Only one person has brought up the whole ‘Obama wants to take armored vehicles away from the police’ bit. Otherwise, their reporting is very informative.

I was just at a PP last week (I was just finishing up about this time and heading out to grab some lunch), so this feels especially scary for me to think about. Different location, obviously, but the people were wonderful, they made me feel comfortable and safe, and I couldn’t imagine them being caught in the middle…

I’ve been using Simple since June, and it’s *so* much nicer than banking with a traditional bank. (Or even a ‘bank’ like Higher One, where my financial aid disbursements go.)
