I think that works if you cook sub 3 cups of rice. I usually make 3-4 cups of rice to last for a week, it gets closer to 1:1 ratio as you up cups of rice. Lower temp - longer cooking time tambien.

Practicality, I suppose. But lets talk real, say you are fortunate enough to be worrying about said issue above. The real issue would be why you are willing to pay 43% income tax instead of holding some tax free instrument. A portfolio of blue chips may even be to risky at 70/75+.

Apple Cider Vinegar is good too. You can add directly to chili or if you're like me I do a pulled pork chili and use the ACV to cook the pork. Flavor definitely carries over to the chili.
