While the Fast and the Furious franchise hasn’t been the most positive movie in the automotive world, it’s a huge mistake to toss away Walker as anything but a huge loss to the automotive world. The movies are no where near reality, not many action movies are. However, as HarlotOScara points out, it’s not the guy you

I said this yesterday, but I’ll include it in this article. That quote is bullshit and absolutely idiotic. I was riding my motorcycle on a pleasant Saturday with my normal giant “I’m riding a motorcycle!” smile, and then an inattentive driver turned left in front of me. That smile went away immediately and everything

Pretty sure it was her, actually.

It’s his off-camera behavior that made him a huge loss to the automotive community. He was passionate about cars and racing, and that’s why people in this community mourn his death.

I also sincerely doubt he was smiling while his pelvis was crushed and he was pinned in the seat before being burned alive.

this guy has some love for honda!

Man, I love these head to heads. Reminded me a lot of this one:

Sad as it is, Walker and Rodas died being foolish and irresponsible, and we are fortunate that they did not take anyone else with them when they crashed. Even nice people can use poor judgment.

I’m going to guess that if Paul Walker had it to do over, he wouldn’t be speeding on a public street. Smiling or not.

Yep. It is like the asshat motorcycle riders who zip in and out of traffic, drive between vehicles on highways, stop traffic with their mobs, pulling wheelies on public roadways, speeding excessively, running with super loud pipes, etc. all contribute to making the rest of us who ride responsibly look bad.

Thinking of the Icon Impala build. Worth it for that guy, cause it is exactly what he wanted. Not really worth it for anyone else.

This is probably one of the most tasteful and well executed Euro tuners I’ve seen. I commend the seller/constructor. I’d have fun with it for an afternoon or two. Ultimately I’d get tired of answering questions about a car I didn’t build, and the novelty would wear off. Awesome car, cooler than James Dean in a walk in

For anyone reading who has never been to Japan:

You must be fun at parties. Mr. Perry was killed from suddenly being accelerated way too quickly and then getting abruptly decelerated.

Let’s be clear about something...

Not so in this case. Sounds like the man was killed by suddenly going very fast from stationary. Sometimes speed really does kill.

This case is proof that your meme/quote is wrong. Mr Perry was killed due to the speed at which the car hit him, not due to becoming stationary.

I’m not sure you read that comment right.

I’m too much of a kid at heart. Within of six months of having that feature on my vehicle, I would burn out the pump, and possibly the armiture that moves it in and out. I wonder how effective they really are though. I know that when I go to clean off my headlights with that oh-so-pure gas station window cleaner(ish)
