Biased because I live here and have gotten to know the scene over 20 years, but Atlanta is such a fantastic place to be a car enthusiast.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia has a similar setup, where the stalk bounces back to center. I’ll never understand why anyone thought this was a good idea. I thought something was broken the first time I drove a car with such a setup.
Any vehicle that has brake lights that double as turn signals; that’s an awful design flaw. I think this is more a case of regulation + cost-cutting. I already think it’s poor design to make a turn signal and a brake light the same color - it’s even worse when the entire brake light is used as a turn signal. At a…
Styling is subjective, and that’s not what “design flaw” means, but also this might just be humor that I don’t understand.
That’s less a “design flaw” and more just “ugly design.”
Depending on its timeline and price point, this would be pretty well-placed against the Volkswagen ID Buzz

I didn’t mind the redesign, but this gen was definitely way cooler.
I think the 3400 was the biggest engine you could get for this generation, but yes, that 3800 is an immensely capable engine.
The Pontiac Grand Prix hit all the right buttons for my 7-year-old self. It looked amazing, those grid-pattern tail lights tattoo’d themselves on my brain, and it’s the first car I remember hearing a distinctive exhaust note from.
And I hope you never do. This was such a wild, daring, and ambitious project for General Motors during a time when they were cranking out dull, forgettable garbage.
Indeed. The entrance to the Downtown Connector is literally directly behind the nightclub.
This is hilarious and just SO Atlanta, I love it.
Glad to see the Aurora getting the love and appreciation it deserves.
