I was not. Is this a reference to something?
$4,500 isn’t bad considering today’s market, and I know more than a few weirdos (whom I love to death) with that much scratch who would enjoy this thing for car shows and other events.
Road head from my girlfriend at the time while we were driving through Missouri. First time I've ever experienced that, and there are few other ways to make driving through Missouri interesting.
The road-going Lister Storm appeared in Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed High Stakes. That's where I first learned about it.
How on Earth can I achieve a ~$700 mortgage? Anything under $1,500 seems impossible to achieve, even with a healthy down payment.
No need for name calling.
That's one thing I like about the Taycan. At least the climate controls are fixed so you can develop some muscle memory for those commands.
We have a 2016 Model S 85D and that has not been our experience. Perhaps it’s been updated in newer models, but even my Dodge Challenger had a better setup.
Low hanging fruit, but Tesla. It’s not just that switching between basic controls involves shuffling through menus - the bigger crime is how they set this awful trend of covering the cabin in screens and tying all controls to one (not entirely reliable) interface.
Should have included the story behind the Quadrifoglio badge.
I’m right there with you. I draw the line at "911 Carrera" - everything else looks too busy, and Porsches usually have other cues that show exactly what variant each car is.
They do indeed. The journey may be arduous & bewildering, but the fruits of discovery are the sweetest you'll ever be awarded with. Godspeed on your search. Your women deserve to see you succeed.
Alfa Romeo had a racing driver named Ugo Sivocci. He was decent, but never won a race until he started painting a cloverleaf inside a diamond on his race car. He then went on to win the Targa Florio in 1923. He would then have this symbol painted on any car he raced.
Love the Quadrifoglio. Great story behind it
Alpina
Thank you for this.
Full disclosure, I found this one in October of 2021 for $18,xxx. It was an unusually good deal, title issues & service gaps notwithstanding, but it didn't take much to get it in a condition I was comfortable with.
Thank you! I picked mine up with 84k miles and did general maintenance (new fluids, new spark plugs, new drive belt, new filters) just so I know when they have been addressed.
Haha true - mercifully I think the W212 was the first car to be designed after the Daimler Chrysler split.
