It wasn’t CPO. Not nearly.

Recently ditched my 2016 Challenger R/T for a 2014 E350 4Matic. Never thought I’d end up with a Mercedes-Benz, it’s the first automatic I’ve ever owned, and I broke my own rule of “not buying used luxury cars.”
I’ve been a long time fan of RCR. I get that it’s not for everyone, but “cars viewed through a cultural & literary lens” with some poop jokes sprinkled in - that’s exactly how I connect with cars. I think they’re at their best when talking about 90s GM trash, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Romance longhorn “episodes.” So…
You might find handful of people willing to pay $50k+ for a VW station wagon.
Having lived in Atlanta with one, I’d say the Dodge Challenger, or really any American muscle car.
TVR Cerbera, one of my absolute favorite cars of all time. I consider it to be the first car to kick off TVR’s golden era - it’s beautiful, brutal, the interior is gorgeous, the engine is absurd - I love everything about it. Maintenance & reliability be damned.
Okay but that’s also a sixteen cylinder engine
I’m sure an AMG-ified Inline-6 will follow for their mid-sized models while V-8s will be reserved for top-tier and “skunkworks” models.
This would be an interesting project for upgrading to modern EV components, but $12k is pretty pricey for a starting point.
Fellow ATLien here and I couldn’t agree more.
I absolutely love it. I mentioned something like how it’s the inverse of stuff we’d see in like Back to the Future 2.
Okay yea, that’s absolutely absurd.
$90k for a base-model minivan?
My mom has a 2016 Tesla Model S and we both made the same observations about the seats. They’re thin, slippery, unsupportive, and it doesn’t help that they rub up against the armrest console as you adjust them. The back seats are similarly uncomfortable, with a bottom cushion that’s too low and too short.
I've started seeing these around town in Atlanta. They are so much larger than I expected. Great looking trucks all the same!
Missed the original post but I saw this yesterday.
I think there’s something here, but the execution is still blindingly unattractive in my opinion.
The GMT200 series of vans.
Might as well bring back the "Edge" and "Splash" packages back too.
Dry docking it on a plane, four times in a row? Ouch. This man needs Jesus. He really ought to read the Bible.
