Mine is a 1987 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. My mom gave it to me in 2000, when I was 13. I proceeded to tear it apart multiple times for various upgrades and whatnot. It has been sitting in the shop since 2007, but I’ll be getting it back in shape soon.

The Atlas was a cluster of an engine. Consistent cam timing issues, an intake manifold that needs to be removed in order to access the valve cover (super annoying on an inline engine), and a throttle body that would get gummed up with carbon all the time.

That’s how almost all cars are. I've never had a driver airbag take more than 5 minutes to remove (for completely legitimate and legal reasons!).

You didn't read the article, did you?

In my corner of the PNW you see just as many Ford pickups as the Chevy/GM twins. Plus there's a bunch of Explorers and Edge/MKXs running around.

My mom traded in get 1987 Lincoln Mark VII LSC for a purple ‘93 Explorer. “It’s maroon” the salesman said. I was 6 years old and knew the Crayola colors well, and the Explorer was definitely plum. Either way, I wasn't a fan. Apparently I sat on the Mark's bumper right before we left and gave it a hug.

I started having issues with ECS years ago. They were taking forever to ship parts and not at all helpful when I asked for updates. I’ve switched to eEuroparts, FCP Euro, and eSaabParts (for the Saab specific stuff) and haven't had a single issue since.

Dude, Farah was hot, and so is the ZR1.

I’ve owned an Allroad. You do not enjoy owning an Allroad.

I suppose a heckblende could be illuminated? I feel like I’ve encountered some that do light up with the taillights, so, I guess that can be part of it.

Erm, there’s no way the sled goes 200,000mph. That number is the pounds of thrust the rockets deliver.

SVT Focus with the European Appearance Package or ‘02-’05 Saab 9-5 Aero. The Focus is a riot in the twisty stuff and the Saab just frickin moves. Both were overlooked shortly after production ended, but easily hold their own today.

That’s a pretty common shifter style for many European designed cars and not unique to the Focus.

Keep it up, Torch, the he-men are frothing at the mouth.

One of the reasons I’ve kept my SVT Focus for years, while buying and selling off other projects, is the handling. The things you can do with the chassis are magic, and it’s very easy to learn the limits. The steering is incredible as well, always telling you exactly what the front tires are doing. AWD would not make

I have 18 cars, 7 of which are running and driving. So a bunch are getting sold or parted out. Keep a small number, maybe 5 or 6.

If the car still runs was the fastener ever necessary?

Considering that I currently have 6 Saabs, I’ll definitely be donating via purchases from eSaabparts. I just made an order with them yesterday for my latest purchase.

The FiST and FoST aren’t even available with the automatic.

I bought an Allroad once.
