After looking over a V70R a couple years ago I came to the same conclusion. Suede is a terrible “often touched” material. That being said it does work well in properly thought out areas. In the W211 E63 they used a couple little patches on the seats, doesn’t sound like much, but the stuff is amazing for holding you in

Actually, they do. Just like the 1.8T there’s a chain linking the two cams on each head.

She’s trying to bump start it.

All I want is the Grumman Goose my family had when I was growing up. N327 burnt up some years ago after a crash landing. Apparently it is being rebuilt.

I’ve owned 4 of them (‘00 V6, ‘00 V8, ‘00 V8 Sport, and an ‘04 V8 Sport). The Sports were both fantastic driver’s cars. The base models were okay, but too softly tuned to be any really fun.

It’s so that when you input your own code (you can do that, you know) it’s easier to remember. Say your lucky numbers are 6-7-8-9-0 (don’t steal them, they’re mine!) you can just program them using the bi-number buttons.

There was the time my 5.0L broke the oil pump driveshaft at 5k RPM right after I got done installing a turbo kit.

Fuck Nicholas Cage. Fuck. Him.

Porsche Cayman and Boxster.

Porsche Cayman and Boxster.

But, our import laws now are stupid.

This.

I’ll admit, I had no idea the Peugeot existed until just a couple of years ago. Yet I’ve known about the Skyliner since I was a kid.

Can someone get me out of the gray again?

The CVT wasn’t that bad, I actually owned one for a while. It was pretty responsive and quick to get the engine revs up off the line. The only issue was that it gave up 10mpg compared to the manual, but it still got 54mpg average.

They came with a manual or CVT transmission.

Peugeot 601 Eclipse retractable hardtop. Great concept, and surprisingly it seemed to work quite well even with the 1930s tech. However, manufactures didn’t become serious about hardtop convertibles until decades later.

Alfa had a 5-spd automatic back then?

It looks like a Camry and Sonata way more than an Audi.
