I think the satire is pretty clear. All of the characters in that movie are meat for the grinder in an unwinnable struggle, and they end up cheering like idiots instead of realizing their fate.

“Prose in comics represents a failure to work within the medium and so no, prose has no place within comics.”

No, that’s Dollar Bill, who was shot in the face at point-blank range when his cape snagged in the revolving door.

When he rejects every attempt at adapting his work I think that “reflexive” is a good word to use.  Let’s not pretend that just because Moore did some genius work in comics that he can’t be a human being with foibles and hobby horses just like everything else.  The fact that he wrote some fantastic stories doesn’t

All of Boy Meets World/X-Men/Gargs AND Brink/Johnny Tsunami...?

Still waiting with baited breath for Cassandra Nova to show up on the scene.

I frigging loved this issue. Not just because this is always where I’d hoped the X-Folk would end up, but because I’m working on a gargantuan project and this series has helped me from getting derailed by my own self-doubt.

This could’ve been a great opportunity for him to shed his alt-right followers, if only he had the courage to patiently explain why he’s not actually being manipulated into donating to the ADL. Instead, by saying:

So much for all that ‘HE’S CHANGED!’ bullshit I had to read in the (literally) 50+ replies I received yesterday for dare besmirching the great name of Pewdiepie.

Why didn’t you just aim down and build blocks under your feet while jumping?

My source of income has nothing to due with it; I just—as much as you hate the negative aspects of fandom—am a huge proponent of fanfiction and fanart as ways for aspiring creatives to get their practice or foot in the door. As a way for kids to, from a very young age, enjoy things like writing and reading, because

As Kurt Vonnegut said, we must be careful who we pretend to be.

Original creators can’t, by the very definition of the term, create fan fiction.

god, the economy in GTAO is so inflated that i see the possibility to earn 100k, and think “who gives a shit, that wont buy me anything”

We’re not against you.

I wonder if Valve will allow people to op back into the legacy version, similar to nu-Reddit and old-Reddit.

Yeah all the people saying that Steam needed a ‘desperate overhaul’, I don’t get it. I like how GoG and Steam presented my library: here’s a thing you wanna play. Here’s some news that may be relevant. Boom. Done.

I would love to think that members of Congress would do that, but I think that, with some minor exceptions, they would probably do a lot of “you have been violating norms, SIR” and mention emoluments a lot

Wonderful! I was hoping to feel overwhelming anger as the computer racks up a 10 play combo six plays in a row again!
