That's fantastic. Congratulations!

Can't say enough good things about Temple of Elemental Evil + Circle of Eight Mod. It really is the closest thing to tabletop DND that there is. And while the vanilla game is somewhat short, the Co8 mod easily doubles the content.
That does indeed suck. Heh. But I imagine just the educational experience itself was quite worth it. Whether or not you got the scrap of paper at the end.
Right. I forgot about Castle Rock. And I never really made the connection to Lovecraft's three, but I can see that too now that you mention it. I've always thought of Walter/MIB/Flagg/Whatever-you-wanna-call-him as a pretty literal interpretation of Nyarlathotep. And The Mist is just a straight-up Mythos story.
That is very interesting to me. It's almost the complete opposite in the States. Very little teaching, at least in my experience, about Vietnam and Stalin. We definitely cover a ton of American Revolution stuff, but it's hardly unbiased. It doesn't paint British as villainous, but it definitely makes the American side…
But I think it does also come on Boomerang. I don't get that channel though.
The guy who posted just before you, apparently. Lol
Yeah, why? That's a kneejerk reaction if I've ever seen one.
We do like to romanticise our history. You are very correct about that. In fact, there is a movement in Texas (the state that happens to print all of our textbooks) to cut out the bits about Slavery all together. It's sad days to be a forward thinking American citizen.
They show it on Cartoon Planet on Friday nights on Cartoon Network, hosted by Brak and Zorak.
Don't they pretty much all take place in Derry? (Dark Tower excepted, of course...) Or at least feature a major character from Derry?
Agreed. He is by far the best part of the show this season. I really hope he doesn't get killed off in the finale.
I actually didn't attend SCAD myself, but I am a Savannah native and have had many friends who were students there over the years. I would have loved to go for Sequential as well, but like you say... Expensive!
Whoo! Yeah! Go SCAD!
He did say that, didn't he...? Hmmm. I'd love to see his origin flashback.
Good point. It just never really feels like that is the case since we never see any of that I suppose. As much as I am enjoying this season, when you look at it closely it's still pretty poorly written. Oh well. Schlocky fun is what it is!
Now that could be cool.
Good point. And it explains why he got the fuck out of Dodge as soon as he announced he was just in it for the Daywalking.
lolwut? Tara has never been smarter than anyone... She is my The Worst. Though admittedly, she's got some of her sass back this season. And didn't you see LaLa cook Andy and his witchy girlfriend dinner? Useless?! HA!
