That was... awesome.
That was... awesome.
And I think people still feel burned by Societies. Rightfully so.
She's 22.
Communists, terrorists, and socialists are all the same thing. Like the Three-In-One.
I don't know... I think he leans more towards Neutral Evil. Or even Lawful Evil. He doesn't want to see the world burn, he just wants it to operate in servitude to him and his cohorts. Greed is a driving factor for sure. So yeah, I'm going for Neutral Evil.
You just gave me my next Tabletop character concept! I can't wait!
You know how to party! Get trashed and break down political bullshit! We gotta get together!
I have to agree with everything you just said, sadly. I don't consider myself socialist, but I am certainly farther to the left than the Democrats these days. The whole thing seems to be collapsing in on itself.
I really do think that's the best way to go with a Marvel TV show. I would love to see them go up against someone like Paladin, or even have him on the team on occasion. You could have full on Kung-Fu episodes where Iron Fist and Shang Chi team up. You could go the seventies Blaxplotation route sometimes. Do a wacky…
Well, as long as you are owning it, I say more power to ya!

Why no Iron Fist, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing? Definitely agree with the Ben Edlund bit.
I do remember liking that robot.
Right, but Ultimate Hank Pym is in no way a hero. He's a horrible person, and repeatedly shown to be so by his peers. He's never a character that you are meant to root for. Mainstream Hank Pym isn't such a bad guy. He fucked up and he definitely has mental issues, but he's a good person at his core. I can get behind…
I actually agree with basically all of this. I was just making the point that the "flawed hero" was Marvel's original pitch, if you will.
Oh I definitely agree. I think his version in EMH is the best version of him anywhere. That's exactly the sort of character I think would fit well into the Marvel Movieverse. Which just makes me even more sad that we only get two seasons of it. Sigh.
Yeah, but it was something Edgar Wright had actually said. It was so long ago now though it could be about anything, really.
See, I prefer it that way. I don't like being forced into groups. Sometimes, most of the times, I just want to solo about at my own speed and absorb all the lore and storylines. I really dislike the speed run mentality of so many people I end up grouping with. I'm not charging for the end game, I just want to play the…
Because with microtransactions I can spend exactly as little as I need to. And when they are done right (D&D Online, LOTR Online, Star Trek Online, Champions all do it pretty well in my opinion) I am interested in buying certain things, but never feel compelled to buy anything at all. With subscriptions I just feel…
Well, to be fair the Ant-Man beating Janet thing in the actual Marvel U was an artist's misunderstanding of the script, it was one panel in his fifty years of existence and it was an accident. Not to mention he has gone through quite alot to atone for that mistake since then.
