Cool. Thanks for the tip, I will check it out.
While we're on the subject of Stephen King, I noticed there is a new Dark Tower novel out. The Wind Through the Keyhole I believe it's called. Anybody read that? Is it a worthy follow up to the DT series? Where does it fit chronologically? Etc.
I totally agree. This almost seems pointless without Dark Tower stuff, since that ties in to nearly every story he's ever written. For example, I see IT is on here, but that is clearly a part of the Dark Tower since they talk about the Beams at length, and Mordred is of the same species as Pennywise.
I think the Stand would be considered a part of The Dark Tower, since they have the same antagonist.
Yeah. It is pretty dense. But then again, so is Xenogears. Lol. One of my favorite RPGs of all time, but damn if I could explain the plot to someone.
Riiiiiight! I forgot all about that trilogy. Those were pretty damn good games. I never made the connection to the SaGa series, though I can definitely see it now. That's interesting stuff.
Chrono Cross was a great game, with a battle system nearly identical to Xenogears. It gets way too much shit. If it had been it's own IP people would be praising it to this day. I actually think it serves as a decent sequel to Chrono Trigger as well, once you figure out what the fuck is going on.
Hahaha. I just had the same revelation. I read his Wiki page... he was no Shredder and Krang, that's for sure.
It was remade for the GBA... Sword of Mana I think it was called? Pretty good.
Well that's fair enough if it could stand on it's own. But it failed on both fronts. At least in my opinion. I did like Tilda Swinton as Michael, or whichever Archangel she was meant to be though.
Teddy Roosevelt did swear up and down that he saw a Sass once.
Toonami has been co-opted by Adult Swim due to popular demand. It is now, for all intents and purposes, just Adult Swim Saturdays.
No, you were right the first time. It sucks. It had potential, but the character was totally ruined. Keanu Reeves is nothing like the "real" John Constantine, except that he smokes and uses magic.
It's just Superman stories in the vein of the Silver Age, when wackiness ran rampant. That's Morrison's forte.
Wow. You just made my day with that. Hahahaha. Max Lord is always looking for a leg up!
Afraid not. You are thinking of Mayim Bialik. She played Blossom. [www.imdb.com]
In the original they state very clearly that they had very little food on board because they were supposed to be asleep the entire trip, and the baby grows to it's full size in a matter of a couple of hours while being hunted the entire time. It wasn't eating anything. That's just a trait of their species.
It is what happened in the Ultimate Spider-Man line of comics. They are in their own separate continuity though, so Peter Parker is still Spider-Man in the standard Marvel comics.
Not really... the theatrical cut of Blade Runner was kind of a mess. And the whole thing about Deckard maybe being a replicant was added into the Director's Cut if I recall. Prometheus seems like par for the course to me.
