Heh. Yeah. I just could not get into Gatsby, no matter how many professors and fellow students told me I would love it. I'm not sure why really. I guess the story itself just didn't resonate with me. And I found most of the main characters to be rather unlikable. My girlfriend loves it though, and I trust her judgment

So what? I think football is a silly thing to care about, but there are multiple television channels dedicated solely to it. Analysis, statistical breakdown, replays, etc. Nonsense in my opinion, but some love that stuff (many of my family included). Let people geek about the things they like to geek on.

Hellllooooooo Zelda!!! Also, thank you for making my day fellow Quantum Leap fans!

Seconded! Wi-Five, my good man! I appreciate the hard work. I'm a huge nerd for lore and timelines. Love it.

Yeah, but it did have (the first appearance of?) Vaati. And he pops up a few other times. I guess that's enough for some.

Silent Interlude is still one of the best comics I have ever read. Genius.

Yeah. It kind of flew under the radar and didn't get amazing reviews or anything. I think it is from back in 2000 or so. You may be able to find it on Netflix streaming or something like that even. Enjoy!

That was very eloquent Ugg. Your mastery of English is growing by the day.

I live in Savannah, Georgia, USA, and we have a major art school here (Savannah College of Art and Design, or SCAD). Trust me, there are plenty of Manic Pixie Dream Girls out there. And a few hyper-sexual vixens as well. But I agree with your larger point. We haven't had a good movie heroine in ages. I'm trying to

That actually was one of my least favorite parts of District 9. It comes across as a documentary and then all of the sudden it's not anymore and then in the last five minutes it's suddenly a documentary again. Very jarring and it still doesn't make any sense. Contextually, why do we know what is going on with Wikus

Whaaaaaaaat? But... but... what about Joe's Apartment?

And naturally, I would be remiss if I didn't leave this one here as well. You're welcome, io9.

This may be one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history.

Personally, I am very aware that they are books, I just don't want to read them. I tried to get through the first book, but it was like reading a very slow history book to me. I don't care for Martin's style I guess. But, I love the show and think that it works really well as a weekly serial. So, I like that they

There was a Metropolis anime which was very good, though not quite as amazing as the original. And I don't think there has been a Nosferatu remake, though there was a very cool horror flick called Shadow of the Vampire which was about the filming of Nosferatu. The idea being that F.W. Murnau hired an actual vampire

Too be fair, Ugg, I'm not certain that Cavemen were the demographic for The Help. I know plenty of women who love it... not Cavewomen mind you. But I'm with you. Very boring.

I believe he did. At least according to that Kevin Spacey movie that I saw about him...

Sigh...

Right. Right. It's all coming back to me. Man. I apologize. We should be hating G I Joe though. For a movie with so many explosions and action sequences, it sure was boring. Snake-Eyes was the only saving grace, and that was way too little way too late.

Well, fair enough. Everyone has a least-favorite Robin. I personally hated Stephanie Brown, but people seem to go bonkers for her.
