I am fairly certain that most of the pre-New 52 dead remain dead. Ted Kord definitely remains dead, and he's someone I wish they would bring back so I can read some new Blue & Gold! Though admittedly, Booster has really grown since Ted's death, and Jamie is pretty damn cool himself.

One thing I really disliked about Raimi's films, though I enjoyed them all for the most part, was that Spider-man never saved any of the villains lives. Every villain was killed off. That just doesn't ring true to me. Spider-Man would give his life to save anyone, villain or no. It's a big part of his character.

I think they have made it abundantly clear in the comics through various plot lines (House of M being a major one) that Peter still loves Gwen even after all these years. That's not to say he doesn't love MJ, but it has been spelled out time and time again that Gwen was the one he loved the most.
