Minecraft is definitely a "proper" game, though I suppose everyone has a different definition of what that means.

Now I want to do an American version of Retro Game Master with Harrison Ford as the Kacho!
Very cool. You have me very intrigued. I need to finish The Book Thief immediately now, so I can dive into some fantasy weirdness.
Thank you! My so-called nerdy friend Tom lives and dies by BBT, and can't stand Community. I told him I needed to see some credentials.
Didn't watch any after the zombie episode? That was episode like six of twenty four...
I don't really think her smoking pot was trying to rebel. I think she's just a stoner. That's been pretty obvious since the first episodes to me, but then, I am a stoner... We can recognize our own, I guess.
I agree. The thing about Chevy Chase is, he really is a funny dude, he is just absolutely not at all discerning about the nonsense roles that he accepts. He lucked out with this role. It brought him back from the brink.
You are missing out, friend. Seriously. Everyone who frequents this website should be a fan of Community.
I think we can all agree that Annie's Boobs are one of the stars of the show.
Good Lord. Really? 13 million? We seriously have to come up with a better way to determine ratings...
Yeah! I liked that show! Damn it!
Cool. Thanks for that as well. I remember seeing that one in the store before and contemplated picking it up. I believe that is the one where the synopsis on back refers to a Garuda, which immediately caught my attention. Not exactly a super commonly referenced mythological being.
Yeah... yeah. That sounds right now that you say it. Thanks! I had forgotten all about that book until last night, actually. It obviously didn't really have a big impact on me.
Thank you very much for the suggestions, Krylyr. My local Books-A-Million is going out of business. :-( Maybe I can find some of these on the cheap. To the bookstore!
Yes. Those are great examples of Weiss and Hickman attempting to break the mold. I haven't read much of their stuff outside of the Dragonlance series. I do recall a book that at least Weiss was involved in with airships and typical fantasy tropes, but in a world that was rather sci fi to me. There were worlds stacked…
I see. Well said. Good points indeed. I suppose that a meteor 20 million years away, or an environmental disaster that could occur any day now... the choice seems clear enough. For some reason I thought they were much closer to the end of the Dinos than that.
Ah. Gotcha. Thanks for the correction.
Check and check. I quit at the same point for mostly the same reasons.
I am with you all the way. The other thing that makes no sense to me: Even if they have created a new timeline by this, we should assume that there is still a massive meteor on its way to destroy most of the life on Earth! Why go back to *before* the meteor hits?! Why not jump back to a year or ten after the meteor…
Hahaha. Oh man. My bad, friend. I feel awful now!
