I have not heard half of those names. Gaiman, I love. Barker, I love, sometimes. Mieville I have heard of previously through this site. The other two names I am unfamiliar with. Are they worth picking up? Where would you start? I am definitely seeking some advice on some new fantasy tales that are *not* "high

"High Fantasy" as I understand it, is your Tolkien, your Salvatore, your Weis and Hickman. Elves, Dwarves, Wizards and Warriors. Etc. The stuff that many people think of as just "Fantasy."

Thank you. Came here to do just that.

Ladies, ladies, ladies! Me an my boy Emperor Kestrel here would love to woo you girls while dressed as superheros or anime characters!

Yeah, that's decidedly better than my current situation. How can I help speed this up?

ZING!

Hahahaha. That killed me. Well played, well played.

He's saying in the actual Shadowrun pen & paper lore, it is made very clear that to date teleportation is impossible, though the top notch Wizards and Shaman are working on it. Just another example of Microsoft not paying any attention to the source material in this instance.

Yes. Those teams make sense with these film versions of the characters. And an Inhumans movie could be quite cool. Not exactly sure what plot they would go with... Does that mean the possibility of the Kree popping up in Avengers as well? As they seem to have more or less confirmed Skrull, I would love to see some

That all quite interesting. I knew about the Jess Jones show in the works, and the Hulk show, but for some reason I had gotten the idea in my head that they wouldn't be in the film continuity. Ant-Man needs to get in gear! I am dying for that one. Also, didn't know about the Iron Fist movie. That would be cool. If

I've got to agree with you there. Not enough history or characters for Civil War to be as meaningful as it should be.

Hahaha. Yeah, He's a villain. But this a whole new continuity! Let's shoot for the stars!

I would be okay with that too. The more Eric O'Grady the better in my mind!

I really can't say that it makes me think they are jumping right in to Civil War. I mean, Avengers changing line ups has been the norm since Smilin Stan was on the book. A lot of the characters we have here as "the original Avengers line-up" are actually third or fourth tier Avengers. Hawkeye was a criminal. Black

??? Huh? How do you figure those team ups? It's not way off base or anything, but Cap and Iron Man should definitely be switched. And Luke Cage, Doc Strange, Ant Man, Cloak, Dagger, Iron Fist, She Hulk and Black Bolt? Huh? Did I miss a movie or three? Anyway, Fox owns the rights to Fantastic Four, and by extension The

Yep. Fox owns the FF rights, as well as rights to most of their villains I suspect.

Yeah, I agree here. The details are the most interesting parts to me. I just want to know how Alt-Broyles is still alive. Season 3 must have played out very differently with no Peter involved.

How are they throwing it away? They are relying on the viewers knowledge of the characters to shift gears a little bit, show us a different side in different circumstances, ant to build these characters even more! Olivia is still the Olivia we've come to know over the past three years, she just never met Peter.

And yeah, I agree, Astrid is much more confident now. It's very, very cute.

She is always stoned. Good call.
