I was thinking the same with the ground effects (does that make me sound really old when i use that term?), but then I remember some crossovers are like that. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

Is this a crossover or a car, I cant tell anymore? We need a person to stand next to it, otherwise I cant tell.
I just love the w126. I’m partial to the SEL 4-door though, such great lines.
I agree. I think they could have had fun with the names for their charging station:
I agree, I love my SAABs, just such wonderful cars to drive.
I agree, SAABs and Volvos have the best seats bar none. The Swedes just do seats better than anyone. My V70R in LA traffic was always comfortable same with my 9-5. Its the long term where they really shine. After hours your butt has no aches!
I’m from a New England town; Mercs, BMWs are frowned upon. And this is a town with multi-million dollar waterfront estates owned by CEOs and lawyers. The big money here drive Volvos, Land Cruisers and Subarus. I see some Audis and Mercs but there is a reason Volvos and SAABs were big sellers here, they want something…
This, so much this. Thats why I stopped watching Tavarish videos on the youtubes.
Honestly, don’t view this as in investment in pure monetary terms. It was an investment in ease of life. Having a reliable care allows you to do the things you need to do and minimize stress (by having a reliable means of transport). Now you’ve paid it off you own it, but still have a reliable car to commute with.
America is a sad place. Europe gets the wagon/estate thing. Wish we got it here, almost every car I have owned is a wagon they are just fantastic and great to look at (IMO).
Haha, I remember this ad! The pay lavatory really freaked me out!
I know, but don’t burst my bubble here!
This article is great. Sort of like my local radio station game “which state was it?” where they tell a story of something incredibly stupid happening. The answer is always Florida.
Hmm does this mean we may actually afford a air-cooled 911 someday? ‘Cause that would be great!
Patrick you sound just like me! I’m doing that already, sadly. So my 1980's heaps sit sadly in my garage. Those Baby Boomers, they just were never good with financial decisions.
When I first saw the picture it looked like you cut and pasted a magazine or Brochure ad on your wheel because the new airbag maybe didn’t have the emblem on it. I had a good chuckle. Of course, the blue tape was the more logical conclusion that was lost on me.
The countach was the other car I couldn’t keep my eyes off of. There was a commercial that had a countach in it, (I cant remember what it was about but the gag was the tiny trunk/boot). I would hope that commercial would come every day. Such a striking design.
Well said spoken like someone who probably lives in NYC. Every time I would park my car in the City I would cringe. Its just brutal on a car there.
Ferrari F40. As a boy I was obsessed with this car and the 959, which were the Big Daddies of the time. My old man had a large scale model of an F40 in our living room, I saw that model every day growing up and I never tired of its looks. I think even as a greying adult I still pine over this thing.
Totally, plus the roads are absolutely gawd awful so you know that body and suspension are tired from all the bumps and potholes. Its almost impossible to keep wheel true in the City.
