Yeah but it tastes terrible I tell ya.

So much agreed. Its that how we’ll get it then I’ll deal with silly cladding. I just want my wagon. I have been drooling over this 6 wagon for so many years now, I would absolutely buy it if it came here.

This is great thanks for sharing! I agree, I see untapped potential for movies revistiting this time. One of my favorite movies, The French Connection is such a great time capsule of the early 1970s. Serpico, etc the settings now over shadow the story because its so fascinating.

They need to bring the wagon variant here. Take the AWD wagon, slap some unpainted fenders, raise ride height and they will sell (because I guess we eat that stuff up here for some reason). I’ve been pining for that damn Mazda6 wagon for years, c’mon Mazda bring it over here!

That photo tells such a story. NYC in the 1970s is so fascinating looking back on it now. The decay, near bankruptcy and urban shrinkage. A different place then. Great photo!

I considered the Accord 2.0T with a 6-speed but its FOUR GRAND more than the regular sport. And by that I mean, a car with cloth seats and base trim that is barely above LX trim. Here’s the thing, the cost of the Sport with the 6-speed is in the Touring price range (which coincidentally also has a 2.oT). It feels like

This is the stuff we need to hear to know people are still good.

Saying you have a problem means that I really have a problem.

So I see nothing wrong with this.

Thanks for saying this, in Montreal they use ALLOT of salt.

Ah yes the LAN parties, I remember those. I mean... no I don’t!

I agree. Originally the appeal of these was 3 things:

I sort of assumed most are barely of age to vote.

Top 5 worst?

In this case it’s not within specs. The cowl is required to contain a mechanical failure but in this case it didn’t. The risk is damage to the airframe. A contained engine failure would still allow the aircraft to continue flight.

Its more about who is doing the inspections. Some places don’t go by the book, like that little gas station down the road that does state inspections. In California people are driving around with bald tires and bad ball joints because safety inspection isn’t done on a annual or bi-annual basis unless you buy your car

So much this! When Audi first did this i thought “Wow that looks like a Pep Boys special headlight!” Mercedes nailed it with the solid line but the string of pearls looks so cheap. I agree, classy classiness fail.

LCD instrument clusters. High end cars started doing this years ago, it was cheesy then, and it’s cheesy now. Sure the Audi map thing is kinda cool but the mechanical dials are so much more elegant.

I agree. There was something very japanese in the design language that just looked wrong on a BMW. It turned me off of them for a long time.

Agreed metric is vastly superior but the U.K. still uses MPH also.

2nd Gear: I bet rise of dealer repairs could be partly attributed to the airbag recalls. You bring it in for the airbag recall, and the service writer gives you a laundry list of things your car may need. Said customer says “thanks.” The either takes care of it there, or at another establishment.
