Still a good looking car.

That is just awful. Does it make you feel any better that she would have received a sizable chunk of that seven-figure sum? No? Well ... I tried.

Its more about fun, less about sophistication and 0-60 times. Manuals are very very old tech, they are only around because there are those who enjoy them, like me. Cheers!

It’s a press car, those are all just abuse swirls from careless car washes.

Wow is it me, or does the Z interior look about 10 years old? The stereo, IP, it looks like something you would buy in 2007, not 2017. I guess its an old platform. Aaaand I answered my own question.

I used to feel like this, so much this. Then I realized all the damn gear that goes along with a baby, and traveling with one ... the gear takes more space than people. Older kids you don’t need the SUV as much. In Europe they survive with small hatchbacks but because cars are cheaper here, why the not I guess?

Go easy on the guy, he drove 300 miles with this bum cheeks clenched.

Good luck David! May the Car Gods be in your favor!

Agreed!

Its funny I know what you mean. I think its the mindset, they don’t see those items as really being issues. I had a horrible GTi from new (MKIV, no surprise right?) and I was confused why i felt in the minority of how I feel about these issues. This is pretty typical of American TV executives. Lets mess with a formula that created and continued its success because, somehow, with no experience I know better.

This Turd. What I learned, it has been carefully engineered to az-splode at 3 years, or 36,000 miles, whatever came first. My brain does not have the memory capacity to name all the repairs done under 40k, but holy god were we glad to sell this turd to Carmax at 60k ... and immediately buy a used Saab wagon that at

I know this exit well, everytime I come from NJ to Maine I see this happen. Kinda nice to see some payback.

So true, I did the same and its so hard to find anywhere. You’ll have to travel miles, and good luck getting a discount when you say “I’m flying in from X, to buy this thing, what can you do on the price?”

Exactly THIS. The automakers cry that we don’t buy manuals when they only supply the base model with no extras. See, Americans don’t want manuals? Yeah they don’t, but there are allot of enthusiasts out there who would buy them if they offered a manual in the top trim. See the Mazda3, you can get the top trim in a

Hey you, stop messing up my road! Oh wait ... that was me.

Its funny I just sent this to a friends asking him the same thing! Maybe I’m just getting old.

I would like to know... does it kid? Specifically... does it Toddler?

Believe it or not the turbo Legacy GTs are just as bad. I have a friend, who owned two (simultaneously). He said the best word to describe it is “fragile.” And he is pretty easy on his cars!

I know this isn’t the only GTi story, but its so bad and it was such a miserable new car owner experience its worth putting up here.
