It definitely wasnt since they didn’t make them, unless you were in some sort of custom car. AWD wasn’t available in the 850 in 1995.

I can’t help but wonder if the heroin epidemic and the increase in road rage aren’t related somehow.

The T5R was FWD, NOT AWD. Where do you get these “facts” lol? AWD didn't come until 1997 and NOT in the R model.

Not sure where you are getting that perception? The 850 T5R/R was a VERY reliable car. I owned a ‘98 V70 T5M which was the same thing mechanically. Owned it from 68k to 170k, until it was hit and totaled. Never once stranded me. Its flaws are the faulty rear main seal and a steering rack that will start to leak around

Ugh so true! The Tacoma holds its value better than gold I swear. I gave up trying to find a used one for a reasonable price. New it is. I just went and got a Pilot with 30k on it.

This makes me miss my ‘89 4-Runner Deluxe so bad.

Doug thank you so much for this. This, pretty much exactly, has been my nightmare this summer selling my mother’s $3,500 Volvo and our Honda Pilot. Fantastic, this made me laugh!

I’ll agree with the PNW20v... in a manual these things are VERY quick. I had a brief stint, desperate for job selling Volvos in South Bay Los Angeles. The automatic has “ok” acceleration. Plenty quick, but the manual felt significantly faster. I disagree with the posters, this car DOES handle well, and for well I mean

Yes this! Manual windows, diesel motor. Much wants, I have.

I could watch this all day... in fact I will!

I hate to be the old man ... again, but I like buttons for the climate control. It allows you to change the temperature without LOOKING at anything. (using muscle memory). Whereas with touchscreens, you have to take your eyes off the road. I’m surprised Volvo doesnt address this issue, as safety innovation leaders.

You have the most aptly named avatar sir!

They do.

Command center fit for Bond villain, no?

I squish your head!

I’m a feature geek, and even I would slap electrical tape over this light.

World’s first 30 mph bumper.

I think they don’t want the plate to detract from the look of the car.

Believe it or not this is an M535i, not just a 535i. Available overseas, UK, Germany and Japan. The E28 M535i was the predecessor to the M5, (which debuts in late 1985 in Germany). The E12 M535i was the predecessor to this car, but this is the more modern successor to that vehicle. It is a real M car, but it is by no

Love me some w126!
